Miniature Rocking Horse
Our Miniature Rocking Horse is manufactured from MDF and a first class quality Redwood.
The head, body and legs are made from using components of MDF that have been individually laminated, shaped and assembled together. There are twelve components in total. The head of the horse has a handle (approx four inches either side of the head) which is securely held in place, so that the little ones can rock in safety. Likewise there are foot rests/stirrups either side of the horse too.
The finish here, is an Eggshell paint and a light glazing of lacquer. Our horse shown here has been painted with both a grey and black Eggshell paint, producing a very effective and attractive mottled effect. Both the tail and the mane are made from a top grade of quality wool, using a special technique to achieve the desired effect
Every strand of wool used for the horse's mane has been inserted to an individual hole, that has been drilled with precision and is held in place with a quality high bond contact adhesive. The horse is fixed onto double curved and shaped rocker bars manufactured from a quality Redwood that has received three coats of a quality Mahogany Stain and finished with a couple of coats of Polyurethane Varnish. The Stirrups, Saddle and Foot Rests have also been made from Redwood which have had three coats of a quality Mahogany Wood Stain and a couple of coats of Polyurethane Varnish applied to them.
The surface of the saddle has a layer of leather upon it, therefore, matching in with the Mahogany Wood Stain. This is both a lovely toy and family heirloom that will give hours of pleasure to that little person. The approx dimensions of our horse are as follows:
Length of Rocker Bars: 1060mm
Width between each rocker bar: 305mm
Height between floor and top of the horses head: 680mm
Height between floor and the saddle: 520mm

Heirloom Cradle
This Family Heirloom Cradle is truly a classical vintage piece of Furniture that will certainly last for generations to come.
Hand built by a craftsman and purposely made to look of an ageing appearance, the cradle will enhance any young Childs Nursery. It has been designed with the most optimum safety requirements in mind for our little darlings.
Keeping with Tradition the cradle has a gentle rocking action, however, it can also be locked so that the cradle does not move. A stylish knob is located on each of the tower support posts and therefore, can be pushed through into both the bottom end rails of the cradle, thus locking it firmly in to place.
